A multi-generational home in Carignan. Two stacked terraces, one Capri pergola on each. We fixed both structures against the house.
The louvres take the colour of the home’s wood cladding. The tone is the same on both levels.
On the ground floor, a fan is built in under the louvres. It is bolted straight to the structure’s beam. Air moves under the pergola on hot days.
Electric patio heaters extend the season on both levels.
Outdoor shades close the sides of the pergola. They are fixed to the house and built into the structure. They cut the sun and the wind, without closing the view.
