The good weather is back. Time to get your Pergolas Signature bioclimatic pergola ready for the season.

Our pergolas are built in high-quality aluminum. The upkeep takes very little time.

1. Clean the aluminum structure

Powder-coated aluminum stands up to the weather and cleans easily.

• Gentle cleaning: a non-abrasive sponge, warm water, mild soap. Wipe off the dust and the dirt.
• Rinsing and drying: rinse with clean water to remove the soap. Dry with a clean cloth, or it will streak.

2. Care for the adjustable louvres

The louvres set the light and the ventilation. Two steps are enough.

• Position: open the louvres to 90 degrees. The top and the underside both become reachable.
• Cleaning: soft sponge and soapy water on each louvre. Rinse, then dry.

3. Check the drainage

Water must not sit on the roof.

• Gutters and outlets: check that no debris is blocking the outlets. Clear them if needed.

4. Inspect the accessories

LED lighting, shades, other accessories: same principle.

• Cleaning: a soft cloth, slightly damp. Cut the power and unplug before you start.

5. What not to do

• Products to avoid: no pressure washer, no aggressive solvent, no abrasive product. The aluminum coating takes the damage.
• Frost: do not operate the louvres in freezing weather. The mechanism can break.

These few steps keep the pergola looking good and make it last. The season can start.
